Sōzō is Mountain Ridge Church’s youth group, and our mission is to build, connect, and grow. For an in depth understanding of our mission statement, check out our blog post: Our Mission Statement.
We fully declare that Jesus is the Savior of the world, and we can do nothing without Him! Sōzō has no purpose apart from Him, and our only purpose is to lead students closer in a relationship with Christ.
What does Sōzō mean? (σωζω) In the Biblical Greek, sōzō means to save, keep safe and sound, or to rescue from danger or destruction.
For it is by grace you have been saved (sōzō), through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

We have joined in the fight to release children from poverty by sponsoring a child from Togo. Meet Expon Benoit Djadje:
Expon was born July 11, 2010, and is 6 years old! Each month we give to Compassion to provide for his needs (such as food and schooling) and to give this young boy hope for the future. Would you like help Expon? Go to our contact/give page to give a donation through PayPal.
